If you were a dog, what breed would you be and why?

Pit mix—I’m super loyal, prioritize the people in my life above all else, and don’t always match people’s preconceived notions of me.

What made you interested in pet care?

I love animals—always have! As a family, we’ve been highly involved in fostering animals for years so taking care of animals that aren’t mine is kinda what I anyway do with my time!

What do you do when you’re not pet sitting or dog walking?

Spending time with my husband and three kids; photographing any and everything; and doing what I can for animal rescue and welfare.

What’s your favorite part of pet care?

Establishing a relationship with my clients—and sometimes their human parents, too!

What’s the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve had while on the job?

Spending weeks building trust with a dog that had quite a case of stranger danger.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

When I can tell an animal I care for/walk is happy to see me☺️
